Portland Art Dealer's Association

Portland Art Dealer’s Association (PADA) includes Portland’s principal art galleries. We maintain the highest standards of fine art while cultivating relationships with artists, collectors, museums, art institutions and schools. PADA members present a diverse range of regionally, nationally and internationally recognized artists, from here in the Pacific Northwest to all regions of the world. Serving as art ambassadors for the entire community, our galleries are distributed throughout Portland’s diverse neighborhoods, including the Pearl District, Northwest, Inner Southeast and the Alberta Arts District.

We hope to see you soon in our galleries!

Portland Art Focus

Portland Art Focus is a consortium of Portland's leading academic and non-profit museums and galleries who work together to promote Portland's vibrant visual arts community.

Openings and Events

First Thursday, Portland’s flourishing art walk, was initiated thirty years ago by the founding members of the Portland Art Dealer's Association. During this year-round, monthly event, galleries in and around the Pearl District and Northwest host opening receptions for new exhibitions. Additionally, some PADA members participate in First Friday and Last Thursday events which are located in the Alberta Arts District and Inner Southeast. Please check individual gallery listings for opening hours.

Over the years Portland’s art scene has expanded widely. Exhibition openings and artist events can be attended at galleries and institutions throughout the city on any given night of the week. Educational presentations and discussions are another premier monthly activity sponsored by PADA and PAF members, and are generally free to the public. Since dates and times vary, we invite to explore our events page or link to individual galleries for current information.
